1. Who provides EntryHut
EntryHut is provided by Hyunwoo Oh. You can reach us at gamgabat@gmail.com. By using EntryHut you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the service.
2. What EntryHut is
EntryHut is a shared workspace for a team's project files. A team leader creates a project and invites teammates by email address. Files live in the project, each upload becomes a new version of the same file, and comments stay attached to the file they are about.
EntryHut is new, is built by one person, and is provided free of charge and as-is. It may contain faults. Features may change or be withdrawn. Do not use it as the only place a piece of work exists: keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 16 and in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may use EntryHut only with the agreement of a parent, guardian or your school, and by using it you confirm that you have it.
You need a Google account to sign in, because that is the only sign-in method EntryHut offers. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us.
4. Storage limits
Each project holds up to 500MB, a single file can be up to 50MB, and each project can have up to 30 members. A free account can have a limited number of active projects at a time. These limits exist because the service is small and someone pays for the storage, and they may change.
5. Your files stay yours
You own everything you upload to EntryHut, and everything you write in it. Uploading it here does not give us any ownership of it, and does not give us the right to publish it, sell it, show it to anyone outside your project, or use it to train anything.
You give us only the permission the service needs to function: to store your files, to transmit them, and to display them to the other members of the project you put them in. That permission exists for the purpose of running EntryHut for you and for no other purpose, and it ends when the content is deleted.
One part of that permission is worth naming rather than burying, because it involves someone other than us. To display a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file in the browser, EntryHut uses Microsoft's online viewer, which means that file is sent to Microsoft to be rendered. By uploading such a file and previewing it, you agree to that step. Our Privacy Policy describes exactly what happens, and every file previewed this way carries a notice on screen.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
6. Links added as versions
A version of a file can be a link to something kept somewhere else, such as a Google Doc, a Figma board or a repository. EntryHut stores the address as text and nothing more. It does not copy, host, back up or control what is at the other end.
Who can open that document is decided entirely by the service hosting it and by whoever set its sharing settings, not by EntryHut. Adding a link to a project does not give your teammates access to it, and removing someone from an EntryHut project does not remove their access to a document you shared with them elsewhere. If a link needs to stop working, you have to change it where it lives.
7. Being a team leader
If you create a project, you decide who is invited to it, and you are responsible for that decision. Inviting an address gives that person access to everything in the project, including files other people uploaded.
Only invite people who expect to hear from you. When you invite someone, we send one email to that address telling them who invited them and to which project. Do not use the invitation feature to send unwanted mail, and check the address before you send it: an address typed wrongly means someone else receives an invitation to your project.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use EntryHut to:
- upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to share
- harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone, in a file, a filename or a comment
- share material that sexualises or endangers a child
- distribute malware, or files intended to damage someone else's device
- try to reach a project you were not invited to, or otherwise circumvent how access is checked
- use the service to store or distribute unrelated bulk content, or as general file hosting rather than a team workspace
- attack, overload or interfere with the service, or automate access to it in a way that degrades it for others
If you break these rules we may remove content, suspend your access, or close your account. Where something is clearly and seriously wrong, such as material that endangers a child, we will act immediately and without notice, and may report it to the relevant authorities. Otherwise we will normally tell you what happened and why.
If you find something on EntryHut that breaks these rules, write to gamgabat@gmail.com.
9. Ending your use of EntryHut
You can stop using EntryHut at any time. To have your account and data deleted, write to the address above; our Privacy Policy explains what deletion does and how long it takes, including the parts of the product that hide things rather than erase them.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 8. We may also stop offering EntryHut altogether. If we decide to shut the service down, we will give notice by email to account holders, with enough time to retrieve your files, unless something outside our control makes that impossible.
10. No warranty
EntryHut is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of errors, that files will always be available, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. Some countries do not allow warranties to be excluded, and where that is so, this section applies only as far as the law permits.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data, arising from your use of EntryHut. This is a free service run by one person, and the practical consequence is that you should not rely on it as the sole copy of important work.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use EntryHut after a change means you accept the updated terms.
